    Adi Wallach, LMSW (she/her)

    Psychotherapist

At root, our work together is about emotional healing and personal growth. I enjoy working with clients on issues around identity, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I also have extensive experience with codependency, boundaries, substance abuse, and religious/relational/sexual trauma, and in supporting LGBTQIA+ communities.

Bringing both professional and lived experience into the room, I strive to co-create a space that is affirming, curious, and completely nonjudgmental. My clinical style is warm, direct, and rooted in unconditional positive regard. I use an integrative trauma-informed approach, drawing on psychodynamic, relational, and strength-based theories, with tools from CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. I believe therapy is a space to deepen self-understanding, which may include exploring how cultural forces like racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, and classism have shaped your story.

As a therapist, I see myself as an explorer. Over the years, I’ve traversed many emotional, physical, and sexual landscapes – experiences that shape the work I do and how I show up with my clients, and with myself. This ongoing journey led me to earn my Master’s in Social Work from NYU Silver School, where I solidified my commitment to support others on their own paths to healing and self-awareness.

Outside of therapy, I love exploring the city, visiting galleries and film screenings, poetry readings, and live music. I try to find at least one new experience each day. As your potential therapist, I look forward to the experience of getting to know who you are, and supporting you through meaningful change and growth.
